This leads to another problem as it has been announced that the President of India will be visiting Kolkata during the time when Samarth has no raw materials to make Cheeni Kum. Now Samarth thinks of various ways to solve this problem.

He also has a dream of becoming the president of India, but this is very unlikely because he does not have any experience in politics. So, Samarth decides to become a kumkum seller and start a campaign, which will soon make him famous all over India. However, one day when he was going to collect his kumkum from Bijuli's house, he discovers that Bijuli is cheating him and stole all the ingredients required for making Cheeni Kum without letting Samarth know. Meanwhile, Ratan is in love with Durga's best friend Apsara, who also loves him. But Durga learns of this secret romance and does not approve of it because she knows that Ratan still loves her very much. What will happen to the Chaturvedi family? Will Samarth succeed in his attempt to become a kumkum seller? Will he be able to solve the problem of obtaining raw materials for Cheeni Kum production?
